About Me

When I was a little girl, I dreamed of being a director (Star Wars and Indiana Jones are probably to blame for this), and as I grew older my desire to create and tell stories only intensified. Coming out of high school, I knew I wanted to be a filmmaker that captivates and inspires audiences. In today's society, one of the greatest instruments of influence can be found in your local movie theater, on your television or in the age of technology, on the internet. I firmly believe in several things: my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, making a difference in the world I live in, and in the power of enthralling and inspiring stories. It is my desire to bring to life great stories that are impactful and uplifting in a positive way. I'm Rachel, and I'm a storyteller.

And just in case you're anything like me, and you like to know a bit more about people's credentials, background and all of that fun stuff, here are a few other facts about me:

I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Savannah College of Art & Design with a Bachelors of Fine Art in Film and Television in June of 2013. And though I have made a few films prior, I consider my debut film to be my senior thesis, Valiant, which earned several awards at SCAD including Best Undergraduate Narrative Film and is on the festival circuit (woo hoo!) Currently I am soaking up the good 'ol Florida sun while pursuing my masters degree in Entertainment Business at Full Sail University.
